“FACES OF VIETNAM”
An exhibition at the Smithsonian Institution / Washington

USA / 1964

The Smithsonian Institution, one of most important cultural organizations in the United States, mounted an exhibition of Raymond Cauchetier’s photos of Vietnam, which traveled around museums and universities in the USA for several years.
A large section of the exhibition dealt with ethnic minorities in the Annamite Range, the first inhabitants of the Indochinese peninsula, before the successive invasions of Vietnam.
